Do you ever feel like an island?
No matter how hard you think you try in reaching out to others yet you always fall short?
Like you're cornered into a wall or just stuck.
And the only creature you find comfort in are animals.

I think I'm too slow for this fast-paced world.
Where expectations of the young are getting wasted and living a loud life.
you try to ignore all the comparisons but it stares at you in the face when they become barriers to the world.

I don't know what I'm talking about- sorry

I agree with everything that you have said, this modern world is far to hectic and is certainly not for everybody. Animals are a great comfort because they don't judge, and give unconditional love. Just try and find your place in the sun, and dare to dream :)
