absolutely.

most pictures of me look like they add 10 pounds to my face.

to make sure I'm not just being vain, I've asked others and they were surprised at how bad I look in some of my pics.

I'm not sure. I guess to some degree there is. Obviously, some people are just more attractive than others, so they may just always take better photos. There's also people who just for some reason don't take good pictures, even though they look fine in real life. I think I take look horrible in real life and take horrible pictures! Bleh!

I only feel this way when other people are holding the cameras. If I'm the one holding the camera, I feel much more comfortable.
