Iontophoresis machines

I was wondering if anybody had any experience using both the homemade ionto machine vs. one of the manufactured ones? In the past I made one of the homemade machines and did 20 minute treatments on my hands for about 9 days. I didn't see any results after 9 days and I pretty much got discouraged and figured it wasn't worth the time to shock myself (I don't deal well with electricity in the first place, but if it would give me dry hands I would suck it up). Since I didn't see any results from the homemade machine I was wondering if one of the other machines would actually work better, or maybe there are some tips to actually making the homemade machine work?

Ionto machines are way better and more reliable than homemade. Lots of discussions about that on this forum.
