Iontophoresis for scalp

Now, probably everybody in here questions about the safety since it's on your head. But as a generalized HH sufferer, someday I might try this.

I got a question. At the bottom of that link, it's said,

ATTENTION: These adapters are compatible only with devices of Electro Antiperspirant® brand

Is it true?

No. They can be used with any ionto device. You might just need to modify how adapter plugs in. I'm not quite sure I would want to shoot any type of electricity throughout my entire head. If any machine spikes or malfunctions it might not feel to good on ones brain. I'd say it's not worth the risk.

Yeah the study of side effect and adverse effect of face and head region iontophoresis are not well documented yet.
