interview nerves

After 6+ years of having no money and living of parents. I've applied for Job Seekers allowance, while i look for a job that suits me.

I'm waiting for a phonecall to schedule the interview to see if i can get JSA or not, i don't see why i'd be refused but, i'm totally dreading the day i have to walk into a very busy job centre, and talk to a complete stranger while there is loads of other people watching(since they'd have nothing else to do while waiting their turn)

A job that would suit me would be a night job, much less people around during the night. warehouse work would be fine to start of with, would be good if there is additional training like forklift or other machinery training which would look useful on a cv for future jobs.

But before i get ahead of myself, the JSA interview is frightning to me.

Hey, it's not as bad as you think it is, nothing ever is! I can't even remember my interview. Only being on it once when I first left college but I remember most of it was just paperwork I filled in at home. The interview didn't even feel like an inteview, at least it never then. I really wouldn't worry too much (which I know is hard not to).

You sound a lot like me, I would prefer jobs where I don't have to deal with people much especially face to face or over the phone. I often wonder about a fork lift job, but don't you need a drivers license for it? or am I mistaken? I can not drive and I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable attempting to drive on a road with all those other cars lol
