I was walking with my boyfriend and he was holding me as we were walking and I was looking down mostly. When we passed a group of girls one said "she's not pretty" and they laughed. We were passing a moving theater. I looked up and they weren't looking at me but they must have been talking about me. I feel terrible and afraid my boyfriend feels bad for me now but pretended not to care... :(

They were probably talking about one of their "friends" who wasn't with them. What reason would they have for saying that about some random girl walking down the road?

Well there's lots of gerks in the world, especially near where I live :s I'll just go with your answer anyway though :p i mean it would make more sense to say "hes cute" (talking about my bf) since he was closer to them. It's just that when we passed them again (they still werent looking) my bf looked at them and then looked at me and grabbed my hand like "it's okay" x.x who knows... :idontknow: looks aren't everything but no need to be rude to anyone geez... :(

Yeah I think there's a very good chance they weren't talking about you.
And even if they were, my favorite therapist once told me that when someone is mean to you for no reason it's 100% because they are jealous or have an insecurity about themselves that they are taking out on you.
She also always said b.f.d. a lot, to which I asked "b.f.d?" and she replied "big, f******, deal."
Lol I think that was her way of making me realize how much I worry about things I shouldn't. Like you shouldn't.
