I think i have a speech problem

I dont stutter, well I do but very rare. I have this really boring robotic tone of voice when I talk and some ppl have made fun of me because of it. I do record and listen to myself on the phone from time and time again. Some ppl say its ok the way that I talk, but alot of times I have to repeat myself so they can understan wat im saying because I have a really soft voice or the words doesnt come out right and Ive been labelled 'slow' a few times too. It could be an accent thing cause Im a foreigner so it could be my pronunciation of some words, but I know most ppl would say twice more words than me in like 10 secs.

i wouldn't worry about it mch, i woudn't think you have any problems, i am an english teacher. and some of my students are fantastic, and they can speak well, others speak slower, quieter, and monotone, But these aren't speech problems, those are just how your oral plates formed.

*when you are growing up you have oral plates in your mouth that form and adjust to the way you talk. after about 10-12 years they solidify and thats your tone. thats also why foreigners have an accent and have problems pronouncing thingsin other languages.

thx i jst find it so frustrating most of the time I have to repeat myself most of the time. I remember 2 yrs ago a lady bartender swearing at me because of it because she couldnt understand a single word I was saying, and all I asked for was a Yeager bomb maybe it sounded like I wanna bomb ya house or somethin.

I also get told to speak up alot when Im getting a bus ticket, and its really embarressing when theres alot of passengers. I think maybe its because of the plem that I developed 3 yrs ago, or maybe its because I was a social recluse during my teenage yrs which didnt do any favour for my development

ive battle speach impedaments all my life, and i can say, if you feel it will give you more confidence, go see a speach therapist, i saw one for a year or two and it set my on the path to recovery, now i have an occupation that relies on my verbal skills for life and death. so i think back to how i was in highschool, were i was speeking way to rapid and stumbled on my words. all you gota do really, is think of each word before you say things, and concentrate on saying what you want. eventually you get better at it, practice is also good by recording one self, and then trying to improve it, of course i have no idea what is actually wrong with your speach, so this advice may not be right, hence why an expert might be worth a visit too.
