Seems like an interesting film. Hopefully it doesn't recycle The Power Elite and its arguments.

I noticed something funny in one of the Amazon reviews of the film.

One of the major points Pilger makes is that the media are privately owned, and the garbage we get fed to us is simply to mis-inform and lie to us. Your government is lying to you every day people!

I'm not seeing how, by pointing out that the media is privately owned, the conclusion follows that it's a government conspiracy. Perhaps it makes sense to one that has watched the film but it makes no sense to me (and perhaps to others in my position, i.e. those that didn't watch the film yet).
