I dare the social phobia/anxiety community

Hello everyone, first i'd like to say I've been with this forum for a long time now, but i never, if ever, posted since i was so scared of what people thought of me. Now, i took a big step this past month and started posting videos about my social phobia and vBlogs on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/user/bishi4me

Now, i want to try and help myself, and fellow social phobics. I dare the community to post a video response, or even a comment on my video. I'm talking about the 90+ guests that visit this site, that never post, much like what i have done in the past with this site. I know i'm most likely not going to get many, if any, but it doesn't hurt to try. I know those guests want to talk, but they just cant. I know i cant force them, but i know they want to say "hey, i'm here in the world".

Here is the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdaY9epyFRo

There are many, many other people with social phobia posting videos on youtube, and i think you guys should check it out. I found watching there videos even better then reading the forums, as you can truly understand them with video. Were a small community on youtube, but we all look out for each other.

So what do you guys think? I'm most likely going to humiliate myself, and never show my face here again :( but i'm taking a chance.

I think that this is a very cool and courageous idea. I checked out your video, but I don't have a membership to Youtube. I only check out the site every once in awhile. I don't think I have the equipment or knowledge or even the courage to post my own video blogs. I am pretty camera shy, but I just wanted to say that this is a cool idea:)

Thanks for posting this! It's introduced me to the anxiety/depression videos on YouTube, and I never even thought there'd be anything like that on there.

I'd post a reply if I had a camera. So maybe someday soon. :)

Good job. It's amazing that you're doing this..

putting myself on youtube is something I'll never be able to do.. I'm not really afraid of people judging me on the internet as I'm scared of people in real life. What if people at my school and my family go on youtube and see me talking to myself on webcam!

hey, awesome stuff. i think it`s great that you posted on youtube - lots of people go there and i think it`s especially helpful for someone like me with social anxiety to discover that there are other people out there who have the same experiences . I actually thought that it was just my personality and I just had to get my act together for a long while, and that I was just too much of a loser to be able to get over this bad cycle of thinking - it`s actually a condition that many people are afflicted by.
thanks again. i don`t have a camera, but I posted a little comment :)
