I cant believe it..

So my brother told me that a clothes shop NEXT in Bluewater (huge shopping centre) was apparently accepting job applications, I decided to pluck up the courage to go there and hand in my CV, I had already spoken to them on the phone, anyway it takes about 1 to 1 hour 30mins to get there from where I live, I wouldnt care if I had to travel to far if I got the job, anyway I got to the outside of the shop and a wave of anxiety hit me, I just couldnt go in there, no matter what I tried to do, something stopped me and this has never happened before, I consider my SA to be minor but this is proof thats its getting worse, all that journey for nothing, I had to lie to my mother that I handed in my CV....pathetic.

Dont be so hard on yourself. If I was in your situation, I wouldnt be able to make myself go. I wouldnt even be able to talk to them on the phone...so at least you have that going for you

I agree with what hbanana said, you did well to travel there and speak to them on the phone too. After that the worst that could have happened is you didn't get the job and even then it would be them phoning you to tell you that.
