I think you'll be alright mate. its more likely salesmen that have your details from not being ex directory or something? think there is a list which you can opt out of that helps you from getting calls from sales people and people doing questionnaires.
on a sidenote ,I see people mentioning google and web monitoring. just out of interest do they keep stored records of your emails/drafts used with the googlemail service?
