How often do you guys send text messages to your significant other?

Hey guys, I am curious how often I am supposed to send text message or call my girlfriend?

Is it better to call her? Or text her?

What I am quite afraid of doing is that I will keep asking her "oh, how was your day?" and after a while, this will get boring.

What should I ask her so that it looks like I am checking in on her often?

Well... Theres no rules, really! If you're not the best conversationalist just a text when you're thinking of her that's like... "hi, I'm thinking of you" or if you see something that reminds you of her, just tell her! If you don't like texting then don't worry about it! Don't worry about being perfect, its best to be honest & authentic GL!

Me and my girlfriend text daily more or less. Usually I'll wait until I have something of note or cleverness to say and then send that, or wait until she texts me. Instead of the "hey, how was your day?" stick I'll go with "So, I guess my brain decided it would be a good idea to stay up all night. On the bright side, I am awake early enough for breakfast! I decided on waffles." Or something like that.
