Different, I guess. Living in rural South Dakota, if you don't wear something very similar to what every other girl wears, you're alternative-like, I suppose. Because of body image issues, I haven't worn pants in two years. I wear mini skirts [not in a skankatron way though, haha], with brightly coloured tights and ballet flats, with random shirts or hockey sweaters. I like it though. I always get compliments about my style from completely random strangers, but at the same time, I get stared at frequently &assume lots of people make fun of me behind my back. Well, they can suck an egg [or whatever that phrase is?].
