How do u get the insurance company to cover botox?

Hi, I don't know exactly how to get the insurance company to cover botox but I can tell you how I got my botox treatment covered. First, I look at their website and see if they say they will cover the cost of "prescription drugs". Botox counts as prescription drugs. Then I phoned them( you can also write them an email) and ask them if they will cover it for hyperhidrosis specifically. You may need to provide the Drug Identification Number DIN which I believe is 01981501 for botox. If your insurance company refuse to pay for it, I think you can get your doctor to provide supporting documents to show that hyperhidrosis is affecting your quality of life. Best of luck :)
