How can you tell if someones parent's don't like you?

Don't get me wrong, they're really really nice people, but I get the feeling they don't like me.
Maybe it's because I'm so shy and I come across as unfriendly....? I don't mean to be.....
How can I tell??
I'm going to sit and cry a bit more and await the end of my relationship over it, that's what happened to me last time anyway, some guy's parents thought I was a rude, retarded piece of ****e....I just get the feeling it will happen this time... maybe I'm just paranoid.::

My first girl friend was Greek Orthodox. The first time I met her parents they completely freaked out and called their priest to come over. Admittedly I was dressed head to toe in black with earrings and ripped clothes but still it was a very surreal experience. We went out for seven years but most of that time I had to pretend I didn't exist.

But back to your problem...

I feel that maybe you are just worrying for nothing due to your past experience. Most guys would tell their parents where to go if they tried to interfere in their relationships.
