Apparently, a person producing too much histamine in their blood levels is very prone to anxiety, phobias, and many other symptoms, such as depression, OCD, perfectionism, sweating, exceptional cold tolerance, and more.
Might be something to consider looking into. Although social anxiety disorder is, in my opinion, primarily a cognitive distortion based on early childhood experiences, I don't doubt that physical abnormalities may contribute to it.
Check out this page about histadelia: The Analyst - Internet Health Report: Condition: Histadelia (Histamine High)
and here is another one to check out (very informative): http://www.rainbowminerals.net/histamine_factor.html
If this is true, then finding ways to reduce our histamine levels could have a noticeable impact on anxiety and other symptoms.
