hi - intro and helpful solutions

hello to all! i have had this blushing problem for a few years now. it started in the last 2 years of school and has continued into 3rd year of university. I havnt made many friends, go out or socialised much due to my problem. I always tried to ignore it and hoped it would go away in time but still happens at the most rediculous of times like in the shop or having dinner with family! Sad
So i decided instead of ignoring it i should face it dead on and talk with others who have the same problem.
During my experience i have however found a number of short time temporary solutions which i will share with you as they have helped me to some extent, and hopefully u can share with me too. ;)

1. Keeping healthy - this is my primary solution, by eating healthy unprocessed foods, exercising regularly and maintaining a good sleeping pattern i have found that it doesnt happen quite as much and as bad because my body and mind is much more healthy, positive and stable.

2. Tanning - i go to the sunbed studio as i find that by being tanned dramatically reduces the redness and in turn makes me more confident. havnt tried creams or lotions yet as i find it hard to get a good 1.

3. Alcohol - :p , i know it goes against point 1. but i use alcohol to help me out rather than abusing it. After a few beers i feel so much more relaxed and this significantly reduces blushing. I dont get hammered, just a few drinks can make a big difference. I have used this technique during my time at university at lectures and group work. altho its does have drawbacks like not concentrating and understanding the work.

4. Keeping cool - i find this also reduced occurance. heat often triggers my blushing. Having a shower etc makes me feel refreshed and cool also. an example - when i was in the plane i had an air vent blowing cool air onto my face - this prevented blushing from triggering...compared to the last time when i felt hot and sweaty with no air.

im sure there are a few more so i can keep u updated. look forward to hearing from u!

Great tips, I find figuring what works best for each person and creating your own system is essential. The problem with sunbeds I find though is that it can create long term damage for your skin so you must be careful about ti's use.

And alcohol :p you're definitely not Asian then, otherwise you'd be
