Hello,
Just signed up, I'm going to introduce myself. I am 53 and I'm Italian. Being subscribed to a couple of social phobia forums, some days ago I discovered this one, because it was mentioned in a topic. As my friends say about me, maybe I was born in the wrong place instead of some nice village in GB; I feel at home with english speaking people and being sociophobic what better place for me than this one?
Ironically, a great part of my troubles in interacting with people is due to the fact that my English and the other few languages I had the chance to study are quite poor; that frightens me when traveling and when it happens to me to meet non-Italian people. I feel that about 9/10 of the world go on without me being able to take any kind of part in all this.
That said, maybe nobody will be surprised if I'll write little. I hate automatic translators and I prefer to be wrong by myself. But I am sure that I'll be quite interested at least in reading it.
