Hey guys i;ve been studing astrology for some months ,and i was interesting in knowing when you guys were born and where ,to do the research ,if someone wants to help thank yall

Did you know that during the time they came up with all the traits of the zodiac based on the stars and planets, they were in different places than they are now? So for me, that's enough to make astrology pretty much null and void. But I have to admit, I do have quite a few similarities with my sign.

James Dean's car curse
In September 1955, James Dean was killed in a horrific car accident whilst he was driving his Porsche sports car. After the crash the car was seen as very unlucky.
a) When the car was towed away from accident scene and taken to a garage, the engine slipped out and fell onto a mechanic, shattering both of his legs.
b) Eventually the engine was bought by a doctor, who put it into his racing car and was killed shortly afterwards, during a race. Another racing driver, in the same race, was killed in his car, which had James Dean's driveshaft fitted to it.
c) When James Dean's Porsche was later repaired, the garage it was in was destroyed by fire.
d) Later the car was displayed in Sacramento, but it fell off it's mount and broke a teenager's hip.
e) In Oregon, the trailer that the car was mounted on slipped from it's towbar and smashed through the front of a shop.
f) Finally, in 1959, the car mysteriously broke into 11 pieces while it was sitting on steel supports.

A falling baby, saved twice by the same man
In Detroit sometime in the 1930s, a young (if incredibly careless) mother must have been eternally grateful to a man named Joseph Figlock. As Figlock was walking down the street, the mother's baby fell from a high window onto Figlock. The baby's fall was broken and both man and baby were unharmed. A stroke of luck on its own, but a year later, the very same baby fell from the very same window onto poor, unsuspecting Joseph Figlock as he was again passing beneath. And again, they both survived the event. (Source: Mysteries of the Unexplained)

A bullet that reached its destiny years later
Henry Ziegland thought he had dodged fate. In 1883, he broke off a relationship with his girlfriend who, out of distress, committed suicide. The girl's brother was so enraged that he hunted down Ziegland and shot him. The brother, believing he had killed Ziegland, then turned his gun on himself and took his own life. But Ziegland had not been killed. The bullet, in fact, had only grazed his face and then lodged in a tree. Ziegland surely thought himself a lucky man. Some years later, however, Ziegland decided to cut down the large tree, which still had the bullet in it. The task seemed so formidable that he decided to blow it up with a few sticks of dynamite. The explosion propelled the bullet into Ziegland's head, killing him. (Source: Ripley's Believe It or Not!)

Twin Boys, twin lives
The stories of identical twins' nearly identical lives are often astonishing, but perhaps none more so than those of identical twins born in Ohio. The twin boys were separated at birth, being adopted by different families. Unknown to each other, both families named the boys James. And here the coincidences just begin. Both James grew up not even knowing of the other, yet both sought law-enforcement training, both had abilities in mechanical drawing and carpentry, and each had married women named Linda. They both had sons whom one named James Alan and the other named James Allan. The twin brothers also divorced their wives and married other women - both named Betty. And they both owned dogs which they named Toy. Forty years after their childhood separation, the two men were reunited to share their amazingly similar lives. (Source: Reader's Digest, January 1980)

This are not the only case of identical twins having very similar destinies, same things happening to them. There were for example twin brothers of 71 (Finnland), who died in similar bicicle accidents on the same place with the gap of 2 hours. How is this rationally explainable? Just coincidence?

About the stars being in different place now, what do you mean? I know in astrology only planets play some role, and sun and moon. Are they now positioned differently?

Ii think astrology is intriguing , how someone thought about the stars beign
related to our lives in the first time! But i'm more of a astronomy guy ;)

constelations define your sign thats defined by the calendar, so i guess they affect to.But yes, the sun, moon and planets (including earth) do change positions throught the years , but very slightly.

Btw. Lettypagb you took my idea, I was thinking about the same, researching horoscopes of the people here if I find any similarities...
Anyway anybody who is interested can have their birth chart done if they enter their details in www.astro-software.com. The chart is OK I think but their explanation of it is complete rubbish. I was trying to find out myself according to astrological books and it fits almost amazingly.

so i was thinking about doing a research at each astral map ,but i think is easier to just put the thing here aspects that may cause social phobia :

sun in house 7
mercury in pisces ,cancer or scorpio
some wrong aspect between your first house and the sun .

I studied astrology many years ago and just because you have your planets in certain houses or signs does not mean that you are predisposed to this. You are also shaped by your experiences in life and let's remember you do have choices.

I'm half capricorn and half aquarius

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind's true liberation
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

When the moon is in the Seventh House
And Jupiter aligns with Mars
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars

This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
The age of Aquarius
Aquarius!
Aquarius!

I have sun and mercury in 2nd house in leo, first and 7th house empty so none of this applies to me. But I have saturn and venus in house 12 in gemini, which they say has to do something with shyness. Twelfth house is basically a house of the unconscious and esp. with saturn there it signifies heavy burden of unconscious, some supressed problems and traumas. Saturn in twelfth house means "burden you have to carry all your life", enemies are malevolent and hard to identify, prolonged stays in isolation... But at least my saturn has good aspects, which probably means I will have the strenghth to cope with that.

I have Cancer Sun, Libra Moon, and Sagittarius rising. I don't live my Sagittarius rising sign anymore ever since I realized it's fake (as in masking my true feelings behind some Sagittarius niceness).
