Help! Changing your avator

Can anyone help? I have been meaning to do it for sometime, but I haven't a clue how to alter/ resize the image I want to use. I know its been covered on this website before, but I can't find it anywhere.

hiya.....send me the pic you want to make small enough to be your avator and ill send it back to you the right size if you like

Don't do that. It'll get all jagged and distorted. Plus it can only view bmps.

You can also send me the pics and I can resize them for you. I'd host them for you. But I couldn't afford the bandwidth it would take.

he wants to make it smaller, then there will be no distortion..

and plus, u can open gif bmp jpg images with mspaint !
