I just joined..... I've had social phobia for a long long time. Probably since about the age of 15 or 16. I am now 35 & just now thought I should look on the net to see if I could find a message board like this & hey whata ya know.... here I am.

I have also been diagnosed as having Agoraphobia & avoidence disorder...never new there was such a thing as an avoidence disorder, but after the fact it makes sense to me after taking a look at some of my traits.

Anywho here I am.

Well at this point the Agoraphobia part dont make sense to me anymore....I dont think it fits me much at all after reading up on it not long after i joined the site...but the sa & avoidence parts still do....I have made some decent progress since I joined the site back on feb. 3rd...but i got a ways to go yet i know.
