I guess some of you guys might have already conquered social anxiety or very close to conquering it but still not necessarily happy with life (like me =P).
Anyways, according to previous posts, social anxiety has become worse at times when we experience life stresses. Not only that, but not fulfilling all the proper basic needs might contribute to this also.
Basic Human Needs (In no particular order):
-feelings of freedom and independence
-physical safety and security
-financial security
-friendship
-the attention of others
-being listened to
-respect
-expressing and sharing your feelings
-a sense of belonging
-physical touching and being touched
-intimacy
-loyalty and trust
-feelings of accomplishment
-a feelings of making progress toward goals
-feeling competent or successful in some area
-making a contribution
-fun and play
-creativity
-spiritual awareness
I only got 11/19 so I still have a long way to go. But ya it's a great checklist to help yourself be a little more happy with life.
