Have you ever?

Have you ever really wanted to talk to someone or tell someone how you feel but you were to shy to do so. Then it just always bothers you about what could have happened, but you did nothing because you were afraid they would be judging you or that they would not like you.

I really do not like being like this I try not to be but I can't seem to change.

I can relate. I have wanted to say things so many times, but my SA has prevented me from speaking.

I'm going through this now...I really like someone but the only means of a relationship I can have with them is in my imagination or observing from a distance. I'm convinced I would be rejected if I even tried to talk to the person, well the possibility is a frightening enough risk. :/

Yes. And I'm proud of myself. It didn't end as I planned, but it's a hell of a lot better than if I hadn't done it and then wondered what they would have said.

happens all the time when there's a girl I would like to talk to. And then she disappears forever and I have to live with thinking about how she special she could have been or how hard it might be find another one, let alone even talk to her the way I am.

very understandable. its even happening to me right now.
but the fear behind this isn't really the fact of whether or not anyone will listen, its that fact of whether or not anyone will care about what you have to say when they hear it, or even take it seriously.

That reminds me of John Mayer's song!

Nice lyrics. That's the beauty of music, there's a song for every occasion!

It's a tough choice. Say what you want to say and run the risk of being hurt...or don't say anything and feel hurt because you want to say something...it seems like you just can't win!

This reminds me of another song by The Smiths, called 'Ask'.

"Shyness is nice, and
Shyness can stop you
From doing all the things in life
You'd like to..."
