Have you ever traveled alone?

I have more than once, and do enjoy it somewhat until the dreaded feelings of lonliness start to haunt me. I'm looking to go on another trip soon, but just do not know where to go. Alone ofcourse. Any suggestions?

I spent a week alone in Tokyo. It does get kind of lonely but better than not going at all! My cousins who travel all the time recommended Italy and Greece as the two most beautiful places they had seen. I have been to Italy and the history and art are amazing, especially Rome and Venice.

I have traveled solo to a few different cities in Canada and Las Vegas which was the least awkward to be alone in...In Vegas you can be as social or anti as you want to and you will not raise any eyebrows.

I have never traveled alone, unless I count commuting to Philadelphia for school . I doubt my parents would let me go somewhere by myself. It's not like I leave the house much anyway.
