Research on line has shown that Oxytocin is really good for Social Anxiety. I am really shy around men, which is not good for dating. Just wondering if any of you guys had tried it. Ta::eek::

The only thing online I seen to purchase was a spray that you spray onto your clothes or maybe skin. This to me sounds extremely ineffective for anything. The clinical trials in relation to social phobia were testing a nasal spray, which would probably be extremely helpful. And I wouldn't nasally ingest whatever the spray-on-the-clothes concoction is they are selling online, lol

They seem to work, I would just spray the whole bottle in my nose.. but to expensive
To be it effective you need 1 spoon for every social situation, thats every day 1 bottle

It seems that as a nasal spray it's not effective or reliable because of the blood brain barrier that blocks it from reaching anyplace important. They are still thinking of ways to make a more effective form of oxytocin, but I think it is better just to balance your own natural oxytocin levels by not spiking them with certain activities...(orgasm), and certain foods (Sugar) that releases is very quickly and depletes it. Also find ways to lower your cortisol levels seeing that cortisol interferes with oxytocin. So exercise, again healthy sugar free diet, crying when you feel the need, taking time out to do things you enjoy, etc. Lastly make sure you spend time with people, and hug your friends when you see them, because touch is what releases oxytocin in smaller amounts
