Has anyone had any experience with toastmasters

Hey,

Just been looking over at the toastmasters site, looks pretty good. For those who dont know its a club that practices public speaking and leadership skills in a supportive environment. I have sent an email to a local club to get more details, but just wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with them...

I haven't but my sister went and had a very good experience there. She gives presentations regularly for her job and when she went to Toastmasters, it was when she was still new to her position and scared to death to do the presentations.

Toastmasters has been around for years. If you're thinking about going, I can say it really helped Chris (my sis) so give it a try. Good luck!
