going to the bathroom when you are away

I wonder if any of you have experienced this. whenever I travel and have to stay in other place than home I have problems with satisfying my fiziological needs, especially poop LOL. usually I'm in a state of semi-constipation, and have this for all the period I stay. I get back to normal only after I come back home.
any idea of this?

i recently had a friend come stay with me and one night it was so bad i couldnt go that i went outside and peed behind a tree
