Schwulemädchen means gay girl in German. But the word "schwul" is usually used in reference to guys. The German word for gay in reference to women is "lesbisch". I speak good German, since I've lived in Germany for 14 years. I think there is a song called "Schwule Mädchen", but I don't know the artist.
