Just read read your thread on here. Dont know much about Catholicism but I do know how restrictive and intolerant they can be. It seems to be a faith based on fear oppression and guilt, for me that is not what religion should be about. You're still very young and I can understand your parents wanting to protect you from those who could hurt you, but on the other hand you need to find your identity and maybe experience a same sex relationship. Is your religion important to you or is it something that you were indoctrinated into?

I love how, in today's world everybody has their own little theory, nothing new or different than most others, and yet forevermore conflicting with everything other than theirselves. It is both a coping mechanism and a ancient trap.
Look, time brings with it a different society, different ideals and different coping mechanics. The reality will always remain the same, free choice is always there no matter the choices. Go with the world and generally play unsuspectingly by the rules and trappings that have evolved and indeed have been forseen over a few millenia, or seek the truth and see through the lies.
I cannot help but wonder... "So what are the reproductive organs supposed to do?"... oh that's right reproduce. But of course that's not logical... right bletch?
Anyway...

Ive been there, im "choosing" this lifestyle also. My Dads a very old fashioned man, so it came to no surprise he wasnt that surportive at first. It got to the point where i really didnt want to be different but i couldnt "do the normal thing". I guess what im getting at is follow your heart, u may find it worthwhile, its brings far more happiness than u think.
u should consider looking into the GYuk forum, although most are very surportive on this forum, the gyuk guys may understand you a little more.
