Has anybody from the UK actually been to their GP and said they have (or suspect they have) S.A.D?
Or did you just list a bunch of things and had S.A.D diagnosed?
If so, how seriously do you think it was taken?
what kind of treatment was offered?
I ask about UK specifically, because i think the US are further ahead in terms of health care proffessionals acknowledging this thing and taking it seriously.
Not sure my GP would have heard of it, much less take it seriously.
I have had counselling on the NHS before, but it was for depression and LONG before i knew i had SA. Only thing was my counsellor was a humanist and you don't get to choose the discipline you want. I would have prefered CBT.
