Ok I'll give it a go. any suggestions will be welcome.
EDIT: So this is what I was thinking. Each person who wants to play makes a post in a thread, and the post will include the entire group phase fixtures. Each day one will have to edit that post and make a prediction. Lets say 5 points for getting the right prediction, ie. who wins or a draw and another 5 points if you predict the exact same score as the real match.
When the knockout fixtures come out, then we do the same. only this time you get 10 points if you predict the exact same score. This stage will be more difficult as games can go to ET and penalties. The winner is the one at the end who gets the most points.
Obviously there are a few problems with this. One being that on a normal fantasy or prediction game ones predictions are locked at a certain time, so as not to cheat. I don't know if that's possible here. But I guess it's all for fun so no one will cheat... I hope. And second who is going to keep the score of points?????
Any ideas on how to make it better????
