fear of leaving my bedroom

Over the years I slightly starting feeling less fearful. When I was a child(currently 17 years old) when people that I didn't know came over or my older siblings had sleep overs I used to stay in my room and not come out for any reason(only used the bathroom and eat during the night). All day yesterday I played videos games with my siblings which is a huge change. Lost all my friends and some people skills because of this fear. Another huge change happened is making eye contact while smiling at people in public. This fear has gone on for too long. Does anyone else have the same fear? If so how to you cope this anxiety?

I have the same fear. When we have people over, I usually go hide somewhere else, my brother too. Though there were times when I'd come out to the living room, he'd tag along, and I pretend to have no SA at all. But it still feels awkward sitting/standing there with all the guests because I don't say much.

Most times when I smile at people, they look at me like I'm weird, so now I usually wait for people to smile at me first before smiling.
