Eye contact brings worried thoughts

Anyone ever walk into a room, and when you make eye contact with people it seems like they are disgusted by you or that your are a freak. happens to me all the time and i keep wondering what it is that im doing wrong and i feel so paranoid. College sucks. So many new potential friends to meet, but i just cant socialize. Anyone else feel this eye contact thing?

Yeah, all the time. The other night I went to the study hall at uni and the guy at the IT desk was looking at me for ages, and I go really paranoid and ended up giving him a filthy look to make him stop staring. I sat there for a few minutes and then couldn't handle it any more and ran to the bathroom to check what was wrong with my face. There wasn't any food on it or anything, so I thought maybe he just thinks I'm hideous, or he can just magically tell that I'm a horrible person...!

And always assuming people are thinking things like that really doesn't help when you want to make friends with people...

I don't know, but my guess would be that I think he likes you / finds you attractive. And I doubt you're a horrible person. From reading your first few posts you seem really cool - I can relate to a lot of what you said in your intro post.

haha i know right, girls will just look at me sometimes and its like they are looking into my soul!!! I dont know what to make of it, whether they are grossed out by me or what.
