Even when playing games?

Ahhh! I hate it! Even when playing games my anxiety follows me.

I play a game called CS 1.6 and I couldn't even play it normally without getting nervous. Why in the world? Why!?

What has life to offer me?

Important match? CAL?

Believe me, mine is much worse. I play really good when it comes to deathmatching because there is no pressure. My aim when I'm not nervous is just way different. However when I play for real (Involves a lot of pressure, walking, thinking, etc.), I turn into a different person. I coudn't concentrate and my mind starts to feel different. Just like social anxiety. *sigh*

I'm already confident about my ability because I know how I play but this anxiety goes auto-pilot. It's just the same as social anxiety argh!

I guess confidence and anxiety are both two different things...

I play MMOs mostly, and I know how you feel. It's feels horribly silly, and horribly frustrating as well. Things like grouping up with strangers to do something or attempting to trade or something with players I don't know is nasty as well.

Yes, communicating via voice is a huge problem for me. Text used to be, but practice has dulled the anxiety a bunch.

I tend to stop short in online games at coordinated communication (since it involves chat) and socialising. Needless to say, for games where coordinated team is essential this really sucks.
