And if you've gone before, what was your experiences as a social phobic, can u help me about it, I really want to go to this study abroad programme but I have a lot of hesitations about it, I'm on meds also it's a problem. So what did you do or what you're planning to do?

I know what you mean, I wanted to do the same... Erasmus, yeah. A dream. Unfortunately I didn't even manage to go to class like a "normal" person, I had and have enough problems without considering further stressful situations, so I forgot about studying abroad and I am gonna drop out of university.
Do it if you think you can do it and you will be able to enjoy it.

Hi Spfreezes,

I would say, just do it.

Two years ago I was feeling like you guys, you know did not have any trust in myself or others, did not think I was worth anything, you know the whole pack.

In September 2006, I was asked by the owner of the igaming site, I had been a moderator on for about 2 ½ years, if I would be interested in a job in Malta. He was planning to start a new project there. First I was quite affraid to go, because I would not know anyone there and I would be have to live on my own. But my thoughts should not decide the way I live my life, so I decided to go.

I lived there 2 years (I am in talks with another company to move there again from next year) and I have never in my life had such a great experience. In the 2 years I lived there, I have never got so many friends, gone to so many social gatherings etc. It was really a self esteem boost big time and it got me so many social tools.

So if you think you can do, I would say go for it. I know mine was a job and yours is education but it is very similar.

I hope my story could help a little.
