when you feel anxious in a social situation, or you have fear of approaching girls/strangers, try this:
do it at home
or in public toilet when you feel the anxiety (not longer then 2-3 min. )

** you can use instead of the key-phrase "this feeling" a key-phrase like -"this extreme uncomfortableness in crowds" or "this fear of public speaking" or whatever the situation the feeling.
