Does anyone suffer from maladaptive daydreaming?

I hope I can post this here, I'm still very new and actually half asleep, but my anxiety is just punching me in the face. But, I suffer from severe maladaptive daydreaming and I get sucked into these dreams for almost eight hours! Even at work and it's distracting.

But it seems to help me feel less lonely and afraid when I'm around people and having judgmental compulsions. Does anyone else have daydreams of themselves somewhere else? I just want to know how to stop this addicting unsafe coping mechanism because it affects me now how I sleep, function, and even eat.

I don't have this but have you tried seeing a doctor to see what they say, even a naturopathic doctor? they might be able to help you, good luck!
