Do you know other people in your personal life with HH?

Hi, i just thought of posting this question as I am 36 and ive never met anybody else with the same condition. Since i discovered this forum of course i know that im not alone but i think that it would help me to know in real life people that face the same problems as me. I live in London so if anybody feels the same way feel free to pm me:)

My aunt has it on her hands and feet. She doesn't let it affect her at all. She is married with 3 grown kids. She goes on with life as if nothing is wrong. I have no idea how she does it. She lives in a different state than I do so I don't see her very often.

Noone in my family knows I have this problem except my mom. It's a secret that I made her promise she would take to her grave. I don't even like her bringing it up to me. It makes me angry and I quickly change the subject.

No one. Absolutely no one. I mean I don't see sweat rings on people even on hot summer days, and I look for them. Oh, how I look for them...

Did that sound creepy? :)

Haha yeah, I look at peoples armpits all the time now I have this condition. When I see sweaty armpits it makes me feel a little bit better. By chance yes I know someone that has it, but they don't know I have it and I don't really want to talk to them about it.

I know what you mean. Sometimes i feel that I am the only person in the world that has HH. It sounds terrible but i also look for other people sweating and I am always the only one. Thanks for your replies guys:)

My sister has it. Our mum doesn't understand it and all and I've had quite a few arguments with her over it. I understand that people might not get just how bad it really is for us, but the way she really thinks we make a big deal over nothing and it's very frustrating.

not really. I had a friend who sweated profusely on his back when he played basketball, but it went away when he was done exerting himself, so i wouldn't really classify that as HH.

I was older when my HH developed--probably 5 years ago.

My HH is cranio-facial, so pretty obvious when untreated. At my gym, a young woman who worked there mentioned the glyco wipes, and a place here where they were available. I later went on the pill version, which has been a huge help--but that was all just luck.

Another friend apparently had terrible underarm HH. I worked with her but never knew it then--she was able to "conceal" it with overshirts, shields, dark clothing--you know the drill--but I guess was pretty miserable.

In her case it mostly seemed to stop once she retired. Not a viable option for most of you!

I'll bet I've encountered others without knowing it.

I have facial/hands/feet/armpits HH.
In my family, my grandpa and my father both have HH, so, I think some kinds of HH are caused by heredity.

Do you talk about it with them? It would make things so much easier having family members that share and understand HH (not that I would wish it upon anyone else!)

but i don't think so.
when thinking about that this miserable disease would pass to the next generation, I would become very anxious and depressed.

for this reason, I can't be confident enough to tell my loved girl that I love her. HH would destroy the life of our child.

as for those people who doesn't have any family member with HH, I think that their condition would not be passed to their children.

Understood, but you know, as bad as HH is a lot of people have hereditary problems that they would not wish to pass on to their children - heart defects, blood problems etc. It's life. Don't let that part of your HH problem worry you too much.

This girl I know used an excuse to not shake hands as that she had just washed them and were wet, I immediately suspected HH as I had been standing talking to her some time before the other person came up. I still don't know for a fact as I don't keep in touch and don't really feel like blowing my own cover asking her lol.

I found out my cousin has it whos over in the UK so I guess its hereditary.

I had a lecturer who every class I took would develop huge sweat patches under his arms. I was quite amazed that he was able to get on with his life like that as he also had his own finance business, considering the amount he sweated I never detected any odor which is what I'm always fearful of. He was past middle age and overweight so maybe HH wasn't the underlying cause.

I love sensual women and not passionate ones. A passionate woman closes her eyes, moans and shouts and the enjoyment of a passionate woman is blind.

A passionate woman writhes about, grabs you with her hands without looking
where, clasps you, kisses you, even bites you and hurries to reach her climax
as soon as she can. She has no time to display her sexual organs, no time to
examine, touch with the hand and kiss your sexual organs, she is in such a
hurry to slake her passion. Having slaked her passion, the passionate woman
will fall asleep. The sexual organs of a passionate woman are dry. A passionate
woman is always in some way or another mannish.
