Do the news make you depressed ?

Angers me and makes me sad for the most part, but I still like to have an idea of what's going on.

Happy, good news makes me feel good but reading about women being mistreated or children being beaten makes me want to find the person I'm reading about and put my brass knuckles on... It takes a real creep to do that stuff, I wonder how great they'd do beating a 6'1'' 280 pound steel worker? :sarcastic:

News about my country's situation is quite depressing, also when I see that the other countries as developed ones are having hard times with their economies makes me feel terrible, because in a future I would like to live abroad, maybe is stupid and selfish, also is very depressing to listen about the crimes I cannot believe how people can be so bad.

This. I do feel depressed at times when you see a crime that has involved a child, but for the most part it just makes me angry.
