I sit next to a girl at work who's recently become single. She only joined the company about 3 months ago. She's about 25, I'm nearly 29.
We get on quite well and share the occasional joke. Sometimes we work quite late to the point where it's just the two of us left in the office, in our corner...
I quite like her but the whole 'workplace' thing could be complicated seeing as we sit together and work in the same team. However, she will be moving to a different department in 3 months as part of her training scheme.
I was thinking to try to ask her for a drink one evening. Not sure about it really.
My main concern is, as usual, that she will discover I'm a bit of a loner and have no real friends!
