I've tried both, too many side effects from the clomipramine (for me anyways), the propranolol's good but will only relieve the physical symptoms, like shaking/sweating etc. The psychological symptoms will still be there... I still take it for when I'm shaking though. It DOES cause a drop in blood-sugar levels, which could be causing your probs, are you eating regularly?
I've recently been put on Lyrica (Pregabalin) and it's a Godsend... not perfect but close! Only problem is, most doctors don't seem to know what it is

I've been on propranolol for a long time now. Overall, yeah, it's good for me. Like the post above says, it can help ease some physical symptoms, but doesn't do a lot for the psychological symptoms, or as much as you'd hope. I think it can help calm me down a little, with anxiety worries, but they're still very much there.

Propanolol was awrful.
I took it and was feeling dizzy, felt more dizzy when on it, couldn't move!
And they also gave me flu symptoms for some reason, after that i stopped em.

Thanks for your replies :)
Symptoms are getting easier to cope with now and im making sure i eat before taking them , I think the cloipramine are starting to have a good effect on my mood , this is week 2 now so hopefully by week 3 it would of really kicked in for me.
I am going to see someone soon and they think i could be bipolar so im sure they will be changing my medication again or maybe not who knows.
I have so many things mentally wrong im just so glad my physical health is good lol
