I was prescribed 20mg cipramil by my doctor for depression. Didn't really get much from it besides side effects (which completely disappeared within 2 weeks). Side effects I experienced: increased anxiety, clenched jaw, tense neck & shoulders, & headaches for the first few days.
Now I have seen a psychiatrist & she has advised a change to lexapro. I took one last night & noticed a much milder version of the side effects I experienced with cipramil minus anxiety. Feeling a bit brain foggy today.
Has anyone tried both of these? What were your experiences? I realise it will be different for each person but I'd still like to hear.
