Hi everyone,
I wanted to share some Christian Scriptures I've noted down in my book:

" 'The LORD bless you
and keep you
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace." '
Numbers 6:24-26

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. believe (trust/have faith) in God. believe (trust/have faith) also in me. John 14:1

"Come back to the place of safety... I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles."- Zechariah 9:12

Night Seasons -

'Light arises in the darkness for the upright'- psalm 112:4

'When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you
and when you pass through the rivers,
they will not sweep over you
When you walk through the fire,
you will not be burned;
the flames will not set you ablaze.'-isaiah 43:2

Fear-

'For God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but of power and love and discipline (or self-control/sound mind).'-2 Timothy 1:7

Let the light Shine In-

'Then jesus again spoke to them saying, "I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the Light of life.'-John 8:12

i would like to share my thoughts on this Scripture. i think it's talking metaphorically about protection like when it says when you walk through the fire you will not be burned, the flames will not set you ablaze is like you will not be affected by things of that nature (fiery trials) like going out of your mind in inflammation if you get the drift.

That's my understanding as well. Like you will be protected by life's trials and tribulations. So, although it may seem treacherous and impossible, you are actually well protected and will come out fine if you have the courage/faith to brave the dangers.

i need my spiritual life to be organized and done well. i think God's word and God in my life does help me. if anyone wants a fantastic pastor it's joel osteen http://www.joelosteen.com joel osteen was lied about that he's not a paster anymore but is selling cosmetics but that's not true. joel osteen always says that he doesn't even bother when people speak against him. he doesn't spend his time on what people say that's not true about him and i believe him.

That's why I like that guy. He has so many people trying to silence his message and saying negative things about him. He just smiles and keeps going. Today on Facebook, I saw where somebody posted an expensive car beside his picture and said nobody should listen to him because a real preacher shouldn't have such an expensive car. I don't know if they car was actually his or not and, honestly, I don't even care. His messages have uplifted me when I was down on several occasions. That is all I care about. BTW, his sermons are all on YouTube for anyone who cares to find them.

Of course there's another preacher i love and it's Charles F. Stanley www.intouch.org you should look at his sermons on the back! He's also on youtube as well and he's very Scriptural and sincere and can be funny too. Joel Osteen is funny, sincere and uplifting.

Who cares if he chooses to spend some money on an expensive car. i have joel osteen inspiring/helpful envelopes sent into my mail box for a long time that i don't even think i deserve b/c I'm on disability benefits and i don't even tithe anymore b/c i was told that if i don't have the money then i just can't and inside the envelope he just writes how he just wants to give to people these envelope's and as a chrisitian you'll know that what you give in you will recieve back pressed down and compressed overflowing, there's a scripture on that.
