Hi guys,

Its nice to know theres a forum for people with this problem. Hyperhidrosis isnt so common and people tend to overlook it.

anyways, im not such a severe case, i just sweat alot in my underarms. usual story used to double shirt it to absorb sweat etc. I came across certain dri, and it kind of worked, when i first used it, it was winter so i guess it worked. now that its summer it doesnt seem to work.

I read it supposed to work like a charm, and alot of people swear by it. I dunno what happened, maybe my body got used to it.

now im thinking of trying Driclor, do you think this works better? or any other solutions? im based in hong kong, so some stuff might not be accessible.

i know there are alot of threads regarding this, but figured might get more specific answers if i post. Hope to hear from yo uguys.

thanks

I use Certain Dri. It doesn't completely stop me from sweating, but it keeps any sweating to an acceptable level anyway. It works better than anything else I've tried, including a few of the clinical strength types. They never worked as well as they claimed to, and I also found them to be very messy. Certain Dri worked much better and I was impressed that it doesn't stain my clothes at all.

Have you heard of Perspirex? It's another aluminum chloride antiperspirant, but it's alcohol based, whereas Certain Dri is water based. I was thinking about trying it but apparently it stinks so I'm kinda weary. I figure Certain Dri works well enough so I'm not desperate to try something else. But if it didn't work, you might want to give this stuff a shot.

You might just need to cycle antiperspirants. Certain Dri stops working for me after a month or two also. Guess my body gets used to it.

Luckily you can buy even stronger antiperspirants online. Google both of these:

Maxim
MonRay

Certain Dri is 12% aluminum chloride, Maxim is 15% and Monray is 17%.

Maxim and MonRay both work great. Just cycle between atleast two of those 3 every month or two and you should be fine. They're both roll-on and odorless just like Certain Dri.
