Hi all,
My first post here. I am a journalist with a particular interest in bullying stories. My newspaper has won numerous awards for the innovative anit-bullying campaigns we have run, including this Bullywall campaign.
I though I would post here to inform you guys of two bullying stories in Victoria, Australia in the past week which have led to the deaths of two people involved. They are both tragic, heartbreaking stories which could result in state legislation being changed.
The first involves a primary school bullying case escalating into a fight between two fathers, with one ending up being killed. See details here.
The second involves the suicide of a young cafe worker after constant bullying by three co-workers. See details here.
If you feel merit in me posting these sorts of stories from my part of the world here, I will be happy to keep doing so.
