do you physically have problems with breathing? i am not referring to shortness of breath due to mental issues or panic. i am talking about chronic physical breathing problems such as congested passages.
do you think breathing problems have a big affect on anxiety? i can't breathe through my nose. i believe this causes anxiety two ways:
1. not recieving enough oxygen
2. my mouth always has to be at least partially open, therefore i am making a face. it makes me self conscious: i don't want to be a mouthbreather!
when i snort afrin (and i don't do it often) i feel so much better. it opens me up. i can close my mouth and BREATHE. a calmness falls over me.
do you experience similar? have you consulted a doctor about it?
