Hi all,
regular viewers will know that I am a facial/cranial sufferer of HH. Basically I sweat massively from the face in certain conditions.
2 years ago I had an operation to remove a lump from the perotid gland, the gland that produces saliva in the neck. Thankfully, the lump was benign. However, a side affect is that when I eat any food, I sweat profusely on my left cheek, a condition known as Freys Syndrome. . This is on top of my HH that I already have.
Anyway, I am going to the hospital on 7th Nov to get Botox on my cheek to stop this additional sweating as advised by my doctor.
Will let you know how it goes because as you might expect, many of you may be wondering if Botox can help with your conditions.
I might even ask him to inject my whole face .... no not really, but it is another avenue that we have to explore.
