Besides the general reasons why Facebook may be perceived negatively here

Facebook gets a lot of flack for all sorts of things, but I don't see why. Yes, there are a lot of users that sit on FB all day, trust everything they see on FB, constantly update, etc. But not everyone does. I agree with the point on that link, but certainly not in all cases. I have a FB, and I'm regularly to keep in touch with friends that otherwise I can't get a hold of. I also read books regularly. As long as FB isn't taking over one's life (or hurting a person in some other way), I don't see a problem with it.

Still, it's sad that a lot of people could probably agree with that link (that they don't read anymore but are on FB all the time). Seriously, when did the internet, partying, and tv/movies replace quality reading!? Sad day...
