Awkward Nodding

While having a conversation where you're asking each other about yourselves, do you find that you just sort of awkwardly nod after each of your responses? It's sort of funny in a way. I don't know what else to say, I'm not one of those people who has a billion connections who always says "yeah, I have a friend who does that" or "I have a great story about that". So I just sort of look away with a light smile on my face while nodding. I wish I could could be funny around people I don't really know, that would help a lot.

I'm guessing everyone here knows what I'm talking about?

Ya im the same way. I nod like a weirdo and the whole time im thinking....god think of something funny to say!!!!
Its annoying to nod about everything. Like if someone says something im like.... Oh ya, uh huh *nods*. LIke I say that allll the time. hahaha, its funny now that i think about it.
