Avert/Robinul and body temperature

Recently, my sweating is preventing me from a lot of things since temperature starts to rise here in Hong Kong, and in a matter of weeks I will be housebound would I not take any action.

I am thinking about ordering Robinul/Avert (an anticholnergic) from pharmacy.ca, but I am two minds about it since I suspect it could raise my heart rate and body temperature.

I do also suffer from blushing and flushing, something that could be worse if body temperature rises. (I think I was more prone to blush last year when taking Pro-Banthine, it could have been only in my mind though)

I have also read people saying their temperature will drop, and heart rate drop as well, when taking Avert/Robinul.

If you used this med, can you please tell me how did you react?!

Thanks

Oh I don't know about body temperature, but I'm working out daily and I don't know how that would work with glyco. I guess since I work in the morning and workout at night, I can take glyco in the morning to help with my sweating and at night just sweat normally at the gym. I guess that's healthier than just binging on glyco or working out while on it since as you mentioned your body retains heat.

Let us know how it went with Avert.
I also blush and have HH and I am considering ordering Avert too.
So keep us updated please.

Do not worry too much about working out on Avert - I worked out on Pro-Banthine before without problems. Actually, Pro-Banthine affected my workouts positively, because when I normally work out I will sweat so much it's crazy. Especially if playing football outside, or squash/gym without AC, I would literary just pass out when coming back home.

With Pro-Banthine I still sweated a lot, but more towards the "normal" amounts. I think it's important we all remember that those medicines is NOT to dry us up completely, but to make us sweat "normally."

Yes, I will indeed keep you updated redski. I know our symptoms are similar, so a successful remedy could might as well be.

I'm a longtime Avert user. When I exercise, my face does get red--might do that anyway, but more pronounced when you aren't sweating much. Kind of a trade-off--I take less of the med than I could and allow myself to sweat a little. Better than drowning!

California is so laid back, who is going to bust you?! You would not be carrying around multiple bottles of it when you go out. Maybe just 1-2 pills, or none at all since you'd probably take it first thing in the morning at home.

If you have insurance you should see a dermatologist to get a prescription for it. I think it's about $75 on pharmacy.ca, but I asked my dermatologist to prescribe it, and then I only had to pay $10 co-pay for it at the pharmacy. I also got the generic form (glycopyrrolate). It has been working really well overall.
